After a peaceful night's sleep, awake with a magnificent view of the Kootenay River and the aroma of fresh ground Kootenay roasted organic coffee. Dine in the sunroom or outside on the deck for a creative breakfast individually prepared for you. The breakfast is prepared with range free eggs, homemade breads (wholegrain, raisin, scones, etc.) garden preserves made from our many fruit trees, fresh fruit, yogurt and homemade granola. Juice, English tea and a variety of herbal teas of your choice! Diets and allergy related foods gladly accommodated with advance notice.

Spend the day exploring the many hiking, biking and variety of walking paths in the area. Golf courses are minutes away as are the downhill and cross-country ski areas. The City of Nelson is always an adventure as you mingle with the locals, checking out the boutiques, sporting good shops, health food stores and locally made arts and craft shops. The heritage buildings date back to the early 1800's and have been beautifully restored. Walking and driving tour brochures are readily available. The restored streetcar runs in the summer and brings you back to the era of the mining days.
